Ballet Program

This class is specifically designed for those dancers who are currently in a part-time or full-time ballet program. Students will work on the fine control of their deep muscles in order to support their ballet technique. This will include activation and dynamic control of deep abdominal/core muscles, true turnout control and intrinsic foot muscle strength as well as upper body work for port de bras and cambre lines. Towards the end of the year, dancers will be encouraged to develop their own programs specifically for their body and their technique weaknesses. This will progress through to their repertoire work for end of year performances where they will be encouraged to analyse their choreography and look for areas they may need to focus their strength in to complete the performance work safely and injury free.

Classes are offered on a Friday evening: 5-6pm and 6-7pm during term time only.
