Elise McMahon (she/her)

Physiotherapist

Elise (She/Her) is a Physiotherapist at our Melbourne clinic and has experience in private practice and onsite with performers and elite athletes.

Graduating from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons),  Elise is currently completing her Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in Melbourne.

Elise has extensive experience treating athletes, sports professionals and a wide cross section of the community across Melbourne. Her passion and personal experience having been trained in classical ballet, and elite level calisthenics, gives her the knowledge of optimal movement and alignment for injury prevention and management.  She enjoys using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool for all patients, and has a key interest in treating people who are hypermobile and experience symptoms of dysautonomia (including EDS, HSD, POTS, MCAS).

She is a published author in the field of dance medicine. Her knowledge shown in her research identifies the risk factors and management approach required for performers to return to the stage.

In her spare time, Elise loves to dance, travel, go to the theatre, or explore the many great cafes and restaurants Melbourne has to offer with family and friends.
