Senior Sports or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Are you an experienced physiotherapist with a strong sports or musculoskeletal background? Are you interested in the sports, performing arts and dance realm? Want to work amongst like minded therapists that are passionate about providing excellence in health care? 

Performance Medicine is proud to sit at the forefront of Physiotherapy in the Performing Arts industry in Australia.  We are expanding to Sydney to continue our role of bringing the Arts & Science together for excellence in healthcare for artistic sports, the circus arts,  performing artists and the broader community. 

We are currently seeking a Senior Sports or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

We are looking for an individual who can bring their diverse experience, strong knowledge base and skills to our team to help us provide exceptional physical healthcare as we continue to grow. This role involves participating in and being responsible for:

  • Niche Client Care  – ensuring that our clients experience a bespoke 360 degree experience each and every time they interact with us
  • Community engagement – working together with our leadership team to nurture and further our connections with the local Sydney Medical and Sydney sports community, our Sydney community of Performing Arts schools and education facilities and the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Team leader – Have a key leadership role within our clinical team 

ABOUT YOU

We would love for you to apply if you:

  • Are an APA sport and exercise or musculoskeletal physiotherapist with unrestricted and current AHPRA registration with a depth of physiotherapy experience. 
  • Are passionate about providing an outstanding level of niche physiotherapy care 
  • Are keen to combine your sports & musculoskeletal clinical experience with creative solutions to think outside of the box to manage a variety of sports, musculoskeletal and vocal injuries in the performing arts and sporting environments
  • Are confident, motivated, and enjoy working in a collaborative team that embraces the unique perspectives that each individual brings
  • Are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on our diverse community that includes the Performing Arts’ industry, sporting clubs, tertiary students, junior athletes/dancers and professionals
  • Bring organisation skills, adaptability and planning skills for not only your clients but our team
  • Have experience with team management  
  • Brings skills in leadership, can take initiative and are looking to implement these skills in your role. 

Additionally we would expect that: 

  • You actively seek to develop knowledge and techniques, and concentrate your efforts on providing specialist skill and expertise for clients. 
  • You enthusiastically participate in activities to improve your client caseload
  • You contribute to the overall learning and development of other team members
  • You use clinical experience to actively promote the health of our clients so that they can find their exceptional.
  • You use excellent Physiotherapy skills and clinical judgement
  • Have up to date Covid-19 Vaccination Status

This role is suitable for someone seeking 28-32 hours per week however hours are negotiable for the right candidate(s). The start date is ideally end April 2022.   We will be located in Ultimo.

Remedial Massage Therapist

SYDNEY 2022

Performance Medicine is proud to sit at the forefront of Allied Health in the Performing Arts industry in Australia and we are expanding our presence in Sydney to continue our role of bringing the Arts & Science together for excellence in healthcare within the diverse communities that come with it. 

We are looking for individuals who can bring diverse experience and skills to our team so that as we grow, we continue to provide the very best physical healthcare. At Performance Medicine we celebrate our core values daily and make sure that all aspects of our work reflect them.

ABOUT YOU

Open and empathetic communication and the ability to connect and work with our team and community with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail are some of the skills necessary for this role.

Client Experience Team

SYDNEY 2022

Performance Medicine is looking to build a rockstar Client Experience Team for our brand new clinic in Sydney. We need people that love customer engagement, working in a team, and most of all, enjoy being the welcoming face at the front of house looking after the Performance Medicine clients.

Performance Medicine is proud to sit at the forefront of progressive healthcare in the Performing Arts and Dance industries in Australia and we are expanding our presence to Sydney to continue our role of bringing the Arts & Science together.

We provide niche Physiotherapy and Remedial Massage Therapy and are looking for someone excited to assist us in providing exceptional health care to the performing arts and the broader diverse community. 

As a member of the client experience team your focus will be to help deliver the 360 degree, bespoke experience that we strive to give every member of our community.

We are searching for multiple candidates to join our fun and collaborative team and there are both full and part time opportunities. 

Roles we are seeking to fill are:

Client Experience Coordinators & Client Experience Team Members

For all roles you require the following: 

  • Exceptional communicator, motivated & proactive
  • A high degree of empathy & customer service with a friendly & compassionate demeanour
  • High level of initiative and experience with leading a team
  • Multitasking guru
  • Team player
  • High attention to detail whilst working at an efficient level
  • Amazing time management & organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, email communication (knowledge of Google Workspace a bonus)
  • Previous experience in medical reception or similar with knowledge of the Australian healthcare system advantageous but not essential
  • Interest in social media & marketing knowledge an advantage
  • Willing to provide a National Police Check & Working with Children Check
  • The desire to embrace a diverse role and be part of the culture & team at Performance Medicine
  • The desire to support our allied health team and work with our leadership team and be part of something new!
  • Up to date Covid-19 Vaccination Status 

Additionally if you think you are suited for our Client Experience Coordinator role, you are:

  • Ready for a permanent  & ongoing commitment to your career
  • Competent in Excel, Word, email communication (knowledge of Google Workspace is a bonus)
  • Have significant previous experience in medical administration & health
  • Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system (Medicare, PRODA, SIRA, NDIS & DVA processing) 
  • Experience in bookkeeping (not essential but advantageous)
  • Leadership skills/experience
  • Keen to support our allied health team, lead the client experience team and collaborate with our Practice Operations and Practice Director. 

All roles are diverse with a capital D! You will be required to juggle multiple different things at once and your multi-tasking ability will be utilised as you meet and greet our clients, handle phones, support our team and more.
