Instrumental Physiotherapy

With a breadth of experience working with performers our physio team are

highly skilled at treating and supporting musicians and instrumentalists

including woodwind, brass and string instrumentalists and percussionists.

At Performance Medicine we offer instrumental physiotherapy to support you and through your journey as a musician. Assessing posture, limb movement, breath support and embouchure. We encourage that you bring your instrument to your consultation so that you can be thoroughly assessed whilst playing. We discuss your playing requirements and goals and establish the best possible treatment and rehabilitation plan.

Ideally, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

COVID-19 UPDATE: If you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, have been in contact with a positive COVID-19 case, or are a close contact of a close contact, please book a Telehealth appointment rather than a face to face appointment. If you are unsure, please call us on 03 9686 2373 and we would love to help you.

PLEASE NOTE we require 24 hours notice for any changes to your appointments, including rescheduling.

We hate to talk about fees, but if you fail to provide more than 24 hours notice, a fee of $55 will be charged to you (and we don’t want to do that!). Monday appointments need to be rescheduled by 12pm of the Saturday prior.

Payment:

Clinical Conditioning Classes are claimable on private health and are $49 per class. You also have the option to purchase a 5 pack which makes each class $47, or a 10 pack which makes each class $45.

Express Classes are not able to be claimed on private health and are $30 per class. You also have the option to purchase a 5 pack which makes each class $27, or a 10 pack which makes each class $25.
