At Performance Medicine we provide performance optimisation workshops so that each and every artist can stay strong and healthy. We love to collaborate with Dance schools and colleges where we can create a bespoke workshop specific for your schools needs and requirements. At such we introduce safe dance practices, recovery techniques and body care techniques that can be incorporated on a daily basis. We can also provide profiling of your student group and identify key areas where there are opportunities to increase strength and dance technique.
One of our most popular workshops is our expert ballet wellness workshop, where we partner with our Dance Doctor, Dr Kathy Yu, to provide a full day educational and practical workshop and 1:1 chat with our doctor so that your dancers can start the year understanding better how their body works and knowing they have support from an expert team by their side. We are delighted to bring you our Ballet Program classes which are designed specifically those dancers who are currently in a part-time or full-time ballet program. Students will work on the fine control of their deep muscles in order to support their ballet technique. Classes are offered on a Friday evening: 5-6pm and 6-7pm during term time only.
