uElise (She/Her) is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist at our Narrm/Melbourne clinic with experience in both private practice and onsite with performers and elite athletes.
After graduating from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), Elise has gone on to complete her postgraduate Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
Elise has extensive experience treating athletes, sports professionals and a wide cross section of the community across Melbourne. Elise enjoys using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool for all patients. Having been trained in classical ballet, and elite level calisthenics, Elise has the passion and knowledge of optimal movement and alignment for injury prevention and management.
Elise has a interest in treating people who are hypermobile and experience symptoms of dysautonomia (including EDS, HSD, POTS, MCAS). She has enjoyed working events with Gymnastics Victoria and completed clinical training at the Royal Ballet in London.
Elise is also a published author in the field of dance medicine. Her knowledge shown in her research identifies the risk factors and management approach required for performers to return to the stage.
In her spare time, Elise loves to dance, travel and go to the theatre. You can also find her exploring the many great cafes and restaurants Melbourne has to offer.
