Chantelle Simioni (she/her)

Physiotherapist

Chantelle graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. She worked in a private practice in Sydney, before moving back home to Melbourne to further her skills as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She has undertaken further training in Dry Needling and Pelvic Health, and is a Certified APPI Equipment Pilates Instructor.
Chantelle spent several years as a dancer and competing at a national level in Sport Aerobics, before discovering her true passion for performance through Aerial Silks in 2021. What began as a hobby has since grown into a passion, and she now performs and
competes on both Aerial Silks and Straps. With a deep understanding of the physical demands of Aerial Arts, particularly on the pelvic floor, Chantelle aims to provide targeted, holistic, and empathetic care, to help her clients return to what they love.

Chantelle has special interests in Pelvic Health, including pre/postnatal physiotherapy, continence issues, as well as hip and pelvic conditions. She is particularly interested in helping artists return to performance postpartum, by utilising her knowledge and experience in Aerials to help develop effective return to performance programs.

Chantelle strives to get to know her clients, and bring an element of empathy and compassion to her care. She believes that exercise rehabilitation is pivotal to help improve both physical and mental health, and promote long-term recovery. She has an integrated, evidence-based approach to treatment, which combines manual therapy techniques and exercise therapy including clinical pilates, to ensure her clients achieve optimal outcomes.

Outside of work, Chantelle enjoys walking her cavoodle Charlie, watching movies, and spending time up in the air training for Aerial performances.
