Should I book a standard or long consultation? +
We recommend booking a long consultation if you have more than one area of concern or a complex issue.
I haven’t been to Performance Medicine for a while, what does this mean? +
If you haven’t attended Performance Medicine for 12 months or more, we will book your appointment as a return which is billed under the initial pricing structure. This is to ensure our clinical team has the time to assess, diagnose and create a management plan for the condition you are presenting with.

We will also ask you to fill out our return consent form to update any of your details.
Do you accept Medicare Plans from a General Practitioner (GPCCMP)? +
If your GP has written you a CCMP plan, you are welcome to use it with us for physiotherapy appointments. Please bring the paperwork with you or have your GP clinic send it to us prior to your appointment.

Full payment is required at the time of your appointment and we will process the Medicare claim on your behalf. The Medicare rebate will not cover the full cost but any rebate will be paid directly into your bank account. Please note, private health cannot be used in conjunction with a GPCCMP.
What should I wear? +
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. This allows the physio to appropriately assess your area of concern (e.g. shorts, sleeveless top).
