Letitia Reus (She/Her) is a senior physiotherapist with a strong interest in treating athletes and those in the performing arts. She has a great understanding of the performing arts having supported many professional performers across the Sydney theatre scene.
Letitia completed her Masters of Physiotherapy and received Honours in her Bachelor of Health Science degree, both from The University of Sydney. Her Honours research project looked into the ways we can practice a complex dance skill to influence mastery. Recognised for her novel contribution to this field, Letitia presented her research at the 2014 International Association of Dance Medicine conference in Basel Switzerland.
With a background in dance, Letitia completed a full-time dance training year. During this time, she was exposed first hand to the demands of training and performance schedules. This background means she enjoys working with dancers of all ages to empower them with knowledge and awareness on injury prevention and conditioning.
Letitia has a keen interest in exercise and rehabilitation and has completed her Pilates certification series with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). She has provided Pilates to the Wests Tigers NRL team over the last 2 years. This work includes working with players returning from injury, improving on-field performance and facilitating injury prevention.
Letitia is a Certified Lymphoedema Practitioner having completed further training at Macquarie University.
Outside of work, Letitia can be found ocean swimming, caring for her many indoor plants, training at the gym or reading a good book.
