Michael Freeman APAM

Michael Freeman (he/him) is a passionate Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with a strong interest in sport and dance injuries in both elite athletes and everyday individuals. 


He has worked at North Melbourne Football Club (AFL & AFLW), Victorian U18 girls football teams, and The Australian Ballet. Touring around Australia with both AFL and ballet.


Michael graduated from Latrobe University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Then began his journey into the Sports Physiotherapy world working for his local football team, before progressing into the elite AFL programs. These connections in elite football led him to working at The Australian Ballet. 


Michael then completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at Latrobe University. During this he experienced working with The Australian Cricket team as well as at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, Qatar.


Outside of work Michael enjoys heading down to the surf coast at every opportunity to hit the water and work on his very average surf skills!

Schedule: Michael is at Performance Medicine on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and one Saturday a month.
