Bec Zahra is of Performance Medicine’s expert Myotherapists. Studying both Myotherapy and Remedial Massage Therapy Holmesglen Institute and RMIT University. We’re thrilled to have Bec join the Performance Medicine family after spending time during her graduating year shadowing our team!
With an incredible passion for delivering a tailored Myotherapy service, Bec uses a combination of manual therapies. Including soft tissue manipulation, myofascial cupping, dry needling, manual lymphatic drainage, neurodynamics, functional training and corrective exercise.
During her training and career thus far, Bec has gained experience providing Myotherapy and Remedial Massage to a range of artists and athletes. Including the National Institute of Circus Arts, Taekwondo World Championships, Ministry of Dance and the Melbourne School of Classical Ballet, and more!
Bec has a lifelong love dance and the power of expression through movement. Which has led her to also teach dance to young aspiring dancers where she can encourage freedom of movement. With past experience dancing commercially for the Victorian State Schools Spectacular as a Principal dancer and current experience as an aerialist training in advanced pole artistry, Bec is able to empathise with all that come through our doors!
