This is a six session movement based course for singers or professional voice users to help you understand the connection between your body and voice. These sessions use movements derived from the foundations and principles of pilates and myofascial chains to explore muscle activation and body awareness to strengthen your voice. Each week the course focuses on a specific aspect of your body and voice and these concepts are layered onto each other over the six sessions.
During four of these sessions we have collaborated with special guest singing teachers to join us and assist you facilitate your voice before and after each movement session.
At the end of each week you will receive a supporting document with key exercises for you to start layering into your practice.
Our six session outline looks like:
Session 1 – Posture and movement foundations
Session 2 – Head, Neck, & Scapula
Session 3 – Thoracic Mobility
Session 4 – Rib Cage Placement
Session 5 – Abdominals & Pelvic Floor
Session 6 – Functional Integration
STARTING: Tuesday 9 June 2020 – 1:15pm Each session will run for 45 minutes.

FEE: $125 – includes all six sessions and resources.
